Who's your favorite singer or band right now??

I'm sure at least one or two things come to mind! For Riley, this was Taylor Swift. Riley and her mom been Swifties for a long time, so it was no surprise when Riley asked her session to be inspired by one of Taylor's albums: "Folklore". She reached out to me, already working on this vision, and we were able to make it come to life! At first, I remember her apologizing, saying it was a "silly request", but to me, this is a dream! Hi, my name is Emma, and I am a senior and couples photographer based in the Pacific Northwest. The reason why I loved this shoot so much is because we were able to make it so UNIQUE to Riley - these make the photos more special and memorable, and it makes you stand out from the rest.

If you're looking for unique, out of the box photos that represent who you are, I just might be the photographer for you! I loveeee working to make each photo session specific to my clients. So cuddle into your favorite sweater and hot drink, read this blog and obsess over the photos, then send me a message at the bottom if this is the type of experience you want!

First, Riley sent me her inspiration photos.

Then, We worked together to decide on final details.

The location

We decided on Mt. Hebo for its tall grass and tree background, and the bonus about this location is that since it is a small mountain, the sunset views are GORGEOUS.

The day and time

We took photos on October 15, and started about 2 hours before sunset (she booked a Standard 2-hour session). This day was perfect for this reason - senior photos are usually due in November for yearbook, so she got them done in time for that!

The outfit

Riley already had a Taylor Swift cardigan, which was soooo cute. She also selected some other outfit variations and had them checked by me, and then we were ready to go!

The Outfits Riley chose:

Portrait of someone in denim and black sweater sitting outdoors during golden hour among pine trees.
Person in white top and dark skirt posing playfully in a golden wheat field at sunset.
Figure in flowing white dress stands against sunset sky and mountain landscape.
Person wearing plaid coat and white dress poses in natural setting during sunset.

Here are the color photos:
